General Settlement Rules
Wego888 determines bet outcomes on official determinations. Bets placed after the publication of the outcome may be void. If a match is not completed and the result is decided by the referee or by an official source, Wego888 settles bets according to that official result. If the official announcement is issued more than 48 hours after the end of the event and any unsettled bets have been treated as undecided, settlement will stand. Bets on player specials are excluded from this rule. If a market is not resolved before the end of normal duration, Wego888 will settle the market on the normal duration result unless the market description states otherwise.
Examples accompany the above rules: a football market such as 1X2 is determined after 90 minutes; if the event proceeds to overtime, markets that include overtime are paid after overtime. Penalty shoots or other deciders are not considered unless the market clearly states include overtime. Events not started on time or postponed may remain open and bets remain valid if kickoff occurs within 48 hours of the official start time; if kickoff is not resumed within 48 hours, Wego888 reserves the right to void all bets on that event and refund stakes. Events abandoned after kickoff and resumed within 48 hours will be settled on the resumed result; events abandoned and not resumed will have determined markets settled and the rest void or refunded. For two leg ties, only markets related to the postponed leg will be void. Outright markets and short or long term outrights remain valid until decided, subject to the specific market description and applicable rules.
VAR, Referee Decisions and Market Integrity
Any decision taken by a Video Assistant Referee that conflicts with the original on‑pitch decision and alters the state of the match during the incident will render bets placed in that interval void, unless the odds offered were unaffected by the VAR decision or had already been reflected at bet acceptance. Settlement on all other unrelated offers remains as determined by the final official result. VAR reviews are treated as having occurred at the time of the original incident for purposes of settlement of those bets not affected by the VAR decision. Wego888 reserves the right to reverse previously settled offers if the final decision renders settlement inaccurate, provided the decision is communicated before the match conclusion or within the timeframes stated by policy.
Odds Presentation, Rounding and Settlement Timelines
For user experience, Wego888 applies two decimal digits truncation on on-screen odds. Total odds are calculated using a sixth decimal digit rounding, while total winnings are always truncated to two decimals. Any discrepancy observed is a product of these rounding rules. The maximum period between settlement of a bet slip and any potential re‑settlement is 30 days.
Event Formats, Postponements and Abandonments
Wego888 supports specified match formats for prematch and live bets, including 2x25, 2x30, 2x35, 2x40, 2x45 and 3x30. If the event duration falls outside the range of 50 to 90 minutes, all markets are voided; otherwise bets stand. For 3x30 format, halftime duration is calculated as total match duration divided by 2. Wego888 does not assume responsibility for unanticipated format changes; customers accept the risk as part of registration and Terms & Conditions.
If a match finishes with a time limit such as 79:00 or later, all markets are settled on the full-time result. If the match ends at 78:59 or earlier, undecided markets are void. In cases of abandonment or stoppage due to external factors (eg, crowd trouble, severe weather, equipment failure), all undecided markets are void unless the event is resumed and completed within 48 hours; otherwise settled according to the determined result and the remaining markets void.
Outright Markets and Play‑or‑Pay
Outright (short term and long term) markets are subject to a Play‑or‑Pay rule. Bets on the listed participants will stand and be settled as losses if the participant is unable to take part, irrespective of the reason. The Play‑or‑Pay rule applies to all outright markets (Winner, Top 3, Top 5, etc.) for a listed list of participants. Heads‑to‑head (H2H) markets are excluded from this rule; if a listed participant does not take part, H2H markets involving that participant are void. If a participant is replaced by another participant of the same team, team markets (H2H, classification) remain; individual markets for the original participant are void.
Scorers and Time‑Based Betting Types
Explanation of common scorer related bets covers First, Last and Anytime Scorer. These bets apply to regular time only. Own goals are treated per official authority; if only own goals occur, some scorer markets may be void or counted according to the market description. First Goalscorer is void if a player never plays or enters after the first goal, except in the case of an own goal which is ignored for the purposes of this market. Last Goalscorer is void if the player never plays. Anytime Goalscorer applies to any participating player, regardless of entry time. If a match is abandoned but at least one scorer has occurred, bets on the first goalscorer remain valid while bets on the last goalscorer are void. The Anytime Goalscorer market for the identified scorer is settled accordingly as the match progresses and concludes in regular time; markets for scorers who do not participate are void.
